I am so excited to get Tenley and Ben on the blog! It has been such a long week and each day I spent sifting through photos and editing felt like a million years. I have been itching to get this one up! Tenley and Ben’s wedding mark the last of my weddings until January. It’s bittersweet.
I’m so grateful for the small events I was able to be a part of this year. I cherished each one that much more and I know I’ll never again take for granted a full wedding season. BUT! It did make the handful of weddings I got to be a part of this year super special. Tenley and Ben most of all because they were my last.
This November day was perfect. The weather was warm and the sun was bright. When I pulled up to Tenley’s parents house I saw this awesome car sitting out front and knew I had to use it for props. I love a good old fashioned car. 
Another bouquet by Hillside Flower Girls. SO stunning! And some of the flowers were wooden which I thought was a wicked cool detail.
You can’t go wrong with matching jammies when you’re getting ready. I was so happy to see that gorgeous face on the right! Megan was one of our Lily Moon Photography brides. (If you haven’t checked out Lily Moon yet, go visit! http://lilymoonphotography.com)
Tenley chose to do a first look with her Dad. I love when brides do this. It’s such a sweet moment. 
Ben and Tenley exchanged gifts before the wedding ceremony.
While I was with Tenley and the bridesmaids, Kristy was over at Tenley and Ben’s house photographing the rest of the wedding party getting ready. 
I think these are the best socks I’ve ever seen.

Tenley arrived to the wedding in style! 
The wedding ceremony was so sweet. Fun fact! Ben’s Dad is a pastor and married Tenley and Ben on this day. How special is that??
I almost cropped the picture below but then I saw just a peek of Tenley’s sister’s face and I couldn’t do it. Websites cut the resolution of photos just a smidge so it’s hard to see but in the original (which Tenley and Ben will get) you can see the glint of tears in her eyes. You can’t crop out something that sweet. Even if it is just a tiny glimpse.
Tenley and Ben were married in the town of Windsor. This little church had some great lighting. I love how the stained glass puts a halo around them.

I thought this sign was hilarious so I had to share. Social distancing was practiced and we were all safe. Thank you Jesus!
Before we started in on bride and groom/bridal party portraits Kristy and I snuck into the reception tent to grab a few detail shots.
I thought this was a really cool idea. Take note if you’re having a covid wedding!
I took so many pictures of Tenley with her bridesmaids. They were so much fun to photograph and work with. Silly pics included!

And now for my most favorite-ist part! The bride and groom photos. The sun was just starting to set and the light was so beautiful. It went from this pale orange to this deep purple color. I absolutely loved it.

The absolute best way to end a wedding is with fireworks. And, might I say, a decent way to end my covid wedding season.
