Carli + Mike – Geneva, NY Micro Wedding

I am so excited to share this micro wedding in the Fingerlakes area! Carli + Mike were married in Geneva, NY at an airbnb right on Seneca lake. Better yet, they were married as the sun was setting right over the lake which made for some stunning natural light. Editing this was a dream and even though I was only there for three hours, I took a TON of pictures! Look at this gorgeous couple. How could I not?P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EI’m in love with Carli’s wedding dress. It was very vintage/1920’s. I’m very into Dowton Abbey right now (Why did it take me so long to discover this show!?) so I was extra excited that her dress was vintage inspired.

Once finished with wedding portraits we trekked back up the hill where Carli and Mike were surrounded by their close family members and exchanged vows. P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EFirst kiss as husband and wife!P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EI’m loving the socks. After the ceremony we went back down to the dock to take what are now some of my most favorite wedding portraits I’ve captured yet.P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EJust look at that sky!P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EMike was saying we would have to fix his hair but I honestly love that you can tell the wind was whipping. This place was very cool. I’m definitely going to go back just to hang out. BUT! If you’re getting married in the Geneva area, it’s an awesome place for nighttime shots.P I NI M A G EP I NI M A G EThis wall is so cool.P I NI M A G ENote the Finger Lakes Goods sign in the background. P I NI M A G EThe wedding reception took place at FLX Table. This place is so neat. The staff were very friendly and ensured that every measure was taken to enjoy a safe experience for guests and staff alike. They explained all of their appetizers and the kitchen is out in the open so you can see everything being prepared. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to visit!

I definitely see micro weddings becoming more and more trendy even when covid disappears. I am in full support!
