I am so excited to share this micro wedding in the Fingerlakes area! Carli + Mike were married in Geneva, NY at an airbnb right on Seneca lake. Better yet, they were married as the sun was setting right over the lake which made for some stunning natural light. Editing this was a dream and even though I was only there for three hours, I took a TON of pictures! Look at this gorgeous couple. How could I not?
I’m in love with Carli’s wedding dress. It was very vintage/1920’s. I’m very into Dowton Abbey right now (Why did it take me so long to discover this show!?) so I was extra excited that her dress was vintage inspired.
This golden light was absolutely gorgeous. BUT WAIT. It gets better. Keep scrolling!
Best beard I’ve seen in a long time!

Right above the beach is this sweet little deck perfect for lounging. Or for wedding pictures.
Their last kiss as fiance’s! Once finished with wedding portraits we trekked back up the hill where Carli and Mike were surrounded by their close family members and exchanged vows.

I’m loving the socks. If you wear festive socks on your wedding day they WILL be photographed.
The sunset was incredible over Seneca lake.
The sunset was epic. After the ceremony we went back down to the dock to take what are now some of my most favorite wedding portraits I’ve captured yet.
Just look at that sky!
Mike was saying we would have to fix his hair but I honestly love that you can tell the wind was whipping. Wind makes the picture that much more dramatic and where’s the fun if there’s not just a leeeeetle bit of drama.
After photos at the airbnb everyone mingled for some drinks and hors d’oeuvres. 
After mingling we went to downtown Geneva and took some pictures on Linden street. This place was very cool. I’m definitely going to go back just to hang out. BUT! If you’re getting married in the Geneva area, it’s an awesome place for nighttime shots.

The wedding reception took place at FLX Table. This place is so neat. The staff were very friendly and ensured that every measure was taken to enjoy a safe experience for guests and staff alike. They explained all of their appetizers and the kitchen is out in the open so you can see everything being prepared. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to visit!

I loved spending this evening with Carli and Mike. I definitely see micro weddings becoming more and more trendy even when covid disappears. I am in full support!
