Meet Maria + Sam!
These two had the most perfect winter wedding in Binghamton, NY. Winter weddings are becoming more popular and I’m all about it.
The day started with Maria and Sam getting ready at The Doubletree by Hilton. I’ve been here many times and it’s a great place for pre-wedding events. (As well as for a reception!)
Maria and Sam exchanged gifts before their first look. I always love when couples do this. It adds such a special spin to the day. I’m also SO thankful I get to hide my face behind my camera because when Maria started to tear up reading her card, I had all the feels. I’m so blessed that I get to capture these special moments for my clients and that I get to be witness to something so sweet and beautiful.
Pre-ready photos with your bridal party are a must! I love the matching bathrobes!I also loved the fur coats. Such a great look for a winter wedding! Aaron (the honored bridesmaid) thought so too. If you’re wearing fur and not pretending to make it rain with imaginary money, you’re not doing it right. Maria is an absolutely stunning woman no matter what she wears but when she put on her wedding dress, she was breathtaking. I couldn’t wait for Sam to see her. Seriously. Look how beautiful!
Sam, you’re beautiful too!
I’m such a sap. I can’t even load these up without getting teary eyed. (Also, a huge KUDOS to my second photographer, Brittni. She captured all the alternate angles (she always does!) and did an amazing job.)
After the first look, we went right into portraits. These are some of my very favorite from Maria and Sam’s big day.
Awwww Moose! Some of my most favorite pictures taken are the candid ones. I love the fact that Maria is wearing winter boots with her dress.I love having my brides spin! If you have a gorgeous, flowy dress you SHOULD spin! What’s the point if you don’t?I didn’t want Sam to feel left out so I had him spin too. Maria and Sam’s wedding ceremony took place right at the Doubletree in Binghamton, NY and was absolutely perfect. The reception was beautifully decorated. We were able to sneak in before everyone else to capture everything untouched. Much applause to the Doubletree for doing such a gorgeous job!All the sweetness.
I love this picture of Maria and her Dad. The parent dances are always some of my most favorite moments at the reception. I don’t think there’s a group of people that love Celine Dion more than this bridal party. These are all Celine Dion inspired moments! We snuck outside for some chilly night shots under the street lights.
