I have had an intense love for photography since I was a kid. My Mom bought me my first film camera when I was a teenager and from there my love of creating portraits blossomed. Today I specialize in wedding, newborn, lifestyle and family portraiture. Creating for my clients is the thing that makes my world spin round and I strive to make that very obvious in my work. Photography for me isn’t just a transactional act. It’s something that I put my entire heart and soul into. It is my niche and my reason and my place.
I’m not one for traditional portraits. My biggest pet peeve is fake smiles and uncomfortable poses. I like to pull out my clients personalities when I’m shooting. I want you to look back at your portraits 10 years from now and relive every moment, not cringe because someone put you in prom pose. (I promise, I won’t do this to you!) I aim to capture genuine laughter and smiles, natural body language and pictures that reflect YOUR personality.
I aim to get as much face time with my clients as possible so you’re more comfortable with me on your wedding day. I offer a complimentary engagement session with all my wedding collections for just this reason. Building a rapport and making sure you trust me to capture your day is at the top of my priority list.
Currently, I am based out of Binghamton but most of my weddings take place elsewhere. You can often find me shooting in the Adirondacks, Albany, Ithaca, the Fingerlakes area, Rochester, Syracuse, NYC, Cooperstown, Oneonta and Buffalo. I also travel frequently to surrounding states such as Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania etc. I love to travel!
When I’m not behind a camera, I’m spending time with my significant other and best friend, Chris. Not only is he a stud but he’s an amazing Dad and person. Between us we have 3 children and together we love to take trips and play outside! We also have our fur babies Molly (our chubby black lab), Lexi (the newest addition – a rambunctious Australian shepherd.) Porj & Goose. (Our cats)
My favorite models! Lily, Hanna & Isaac.
